Please Note: We are NOT looking to fill a SEASONAL/SUMMER job at for this position and are looking for a full time person, working a part-time schedule, not for just the summer.

Additional Note: Hourly wage is set at minimum, but this position includes tip sharing which equates to potential earn of $18-23 per hour when included with tips

This position can move into being a full-time hourly based Barista. As you likely know, we are a heavy weekend based business and your commitment and availability to afternoon closing and some/all weekend days is a must to join your team!

Key Position Highlights

• Primarily afternoon/evening and closing shift to start
• Must be available to work some weekend shift(s) (F-Su)
• Barista position, but shared tasks primarily focusing on POS, BOH, FOH upkeep, and bar support first

Hours

• Minimum availability of 20 hours per week dedicated to us, however the target is 25 hours and ranging from 20-35 depending on your experience and our needs

Qualifications

• Prioritize your job as an important part of your life and are reliable to show up when asked
• Understand the specialty coffee environment
• Knowledge of espresso machines, coffee makers, POS system input, Etc.
• Do what it takes attitude - we are small, you may be asked to muli-task or wear multiple hats
• Worked in customer assistance role previously, preferably coffee environment, but not required
• Honesty and Integrity
• Pay strong attention to detail
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively to customers and management
• Respectful of our house and team members 
• Open-minded and desire to improve and learn

Responsibilities

• Operate the POS system efficiently and flawlessly to process customer transactions
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their needs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety guidelines
• Maintain BOH and all service items ensuring our place is in top form at all times
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee/tea/other beverages while ensuring high-quality standards
