WHO
We are now open! Visit our unique coffee bar + on-site roastery and step into a unique bliss of relaxing vibes, eclectic atmosphere, and deliciously crafted beverages. We are here for everyone... locals and visitors alike to grab super fresh coffee, espresso, matcha, etc. and soak in the good vibes of our town, San Clemente located right downtown on Ave Del Mar.
DESIGN
Coastal inspired. Artistic and creative minded. Kuli was born to simply give you a different vibe than traditional coffee shops. Eclectic, original, and maybe even a little whimsical. With a passion for amazing interior design, oh so critical lightology, and Kuli is a cross between a Hawaiian resort bar and an artists living room. We aim to ooze beach vibes in everything from our art to our packaging while providing you the highest level of ingredients in every sip of our roasted in house coffees.
SOURCING
We know and certainly take to heart that coffee has a far reaching social and environmental impact. Our coffee partnerships are only with importers that have strong relationships at origin source and who are equipped to work at the farm-level. Most importantly, we do everything we can to work only with partners that have a positive impact within coffee growing communities.
ROASTING
We’ve taken a different approach to roasting using technology and environmental impact at the forefront of our decision making. The roaster we use is 100% electric which has zero gas emissions unlike traditional roasters. This along with our ability to roast a consistently perfect batch due to programing our machine to perfection enables a perfect roast every time. This makes it possible for our coffees to remain deliciously consistent day after day, month after month. Lastly, we use a meticulous approach to test batch until perfect each bean to select the optimal temperature for the targeted profile. The end result enables us to highlight each unique flavor from the coffees that we source.
